Official checks before you commit

Kansas City, Missouri: Build by district. River Market, downtown and Union Station connect well, while 18th and Vine and the Plaza deserve their own blocks. Use the streetcar where it actually matches the day, then rideshare or drive for district-to-district moves.

St. Louis: Book the Gateway Arch tram if the view is a priority. The museum and grounds still give the area a proper visit without the tram. Do not try to do the zoo, art museum, science center, and the entire park in a single day. Forest Park is an area, not one attraction.
