Official checks before you commit

Louisville: Louisville is not a walk-everywhere city. Its good neighborhoods are close enough to tempt a bad plan and far enough apart to make it annoying. Do the Museum Row cluster in one block, then save NuLu or the Highlands for their own afternoon and dinner.

Cincinnati: Do not put the zoo, Museum Center, OTR, and Covington into one casual day. Pick a zone and let dinner stay nearby. Use a good forecast for the riverfront, bridge, or park time, then keep Museum Center, the Art Museum, or Newport Aquarium as the weather swap.
